Do you enjoy being artistic or are you in love with transformation? As a painter you will have the opportunity to use your creativity to transform dull and lifeless surfaces to clean, bright, and impressive designs.

Painters learn the art of preparing surfaces, mixing and thinning materials to the perfect consistency, and apply materials to create a clean and precise finished product. You will apply materials using spray machines, brushes, or rollers. You will have the opportunity to work indoors, outdoors, and at a variety of heights and settings. Your eye for details will help complete each project to creating a unique finished product.

A high school diploma or G.E.D is required for most positions. An apprentice or training program is typically beneficial for career growth and development. Training programs range from 2-3 years. There are many programs designed to prepare you to become an expert in your field and promote long-term success.
