Volunteer for community work projects. When selecting your classes include course in math, science, shop, welding, wood working, communications or vocational classes. You can start researching career opportunities, schools, educational programs, and apprenticeship opportunities that meet your skills and future goals. Attend career days and request to speak with or shadow professionals in your desired field. During your senior year by mid-September narrow your options to two or three and begin applying. Your future is waiting.
